The short version
SeeWhatIf does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. When you enter your age, gender, or salary on a scenario page, those values are processed entirely in your browser and never leave your device.
Analytics
We use PostHog in anonymous mode to understand how people use the site. This means:
- No cookies are set for analytics
- No personal identifiers are collected
- No IP addresses are stored
- We see aggregate page views and usage patterns, not individual users
PostHog is configured with person_profiles: 'anonymous', which means no user profiles are created and no cross-session tracking occurs.
Data you enter
The personalisation form on scenario pages asks for age, gender, and monthly salary. This data is:
- Processed in your browser using JavaScript
- Never sent to any server
- Never stored in cookies, localStorage, or any persistent storage
- Lost when you close or refresh the page
Third-party services
Google Fonts. Typography (Fraunces, Instrument Sans) is loaded from Google Fonts. Google may log font requests. See Google Fonts privacy FAQ.
Cloudflare Pages. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes server logs that may include IP addresses for security purposes. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
No advertising or tracking
SeeWhatIf does not display advertisements, use retargeting pixels, or share data with any third party for marketing purposes.
